Recently I inherited two Rescue Horses, June and Cody. Even though these horses looked horrific and were scared when they first came to us, now their spirits are high and they are happy to be at our barn and love us very much. Only six weeks ago Dr. Browning at Apex Vet said, “Cody would not make it through the night.” Luckily Cody made it, but sadly, his baby brother (Big Stops), who actually had a greater chance of living, did not live. June was another one of the horses from this farm. She had the worst case of rainrot I have ever seen.

Now both June and Cody are doing great, having gained about 100 pounds each. We are going to keep working with them and hope for a full recovery.
